dedication

This project is dedicated to my father John, with whom I share a love of story-telling and a deep appreciation for history. It is also dedicated to my uncle Steve, with whom I share a love of the Russian World and a deep appreciation of cameras. 

Furthermore, this project is dedicated to the entirety of my extended family and to the definitively unique experiences from which we all emerged. It is dedicated to the heart-wrenching and heart-warming stories that have defined our community and our culture.
